in search of herbs

have been searching for some local herbs for my mom's cervical cancer.

one of them is black face general, the other two i have no slightest idea what they are called.

since i knew my mom has cervical cancer, i've been beggingaround for information, and frantically searching the internet. many people told me about the above herbs. they are to help the body system during the radiation and chemotherapy, as well as to minimise hair loss. with hope sky high, we insist we must find these herbs.

went to one chinese herbal shop at Taipan USJ earlier today to ask if they know of anyone or anywhere we can get the plants. she told me these are local plants and chinese herbal shops like hers only sell those imported from China. She said these local herbs are not 'certified', meaning there isn't any evidence of the efficiency of these herbs. question marks bang down my head but i kept on listening. she continued, saying my mom should eat this particular 'powder'. it's grinded from the oil on the porcupine's body. and each time the patient comes home from the treatment, she should take a dosage of this powder. i just nodded with agreement and then the 'sampat' ladies around us asked, where can we get such powder. finally the shop owner said, easy lar..you can even find it here. i sell them. i blurted the million dollar question: how much is per dosage. she told me smilingly, we have RM300++, RM500++ and RM600++ also have. i politely said oh and then thank you. and i walked out of that shop.

in the car, i told my mom about this magical powder. she shockingly said..'eat gold isit.. gold powder ha so expensive"... my brother & i laughed in agreement.
